     Received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 1987 from UC, San Diego.
     Completed postdoctoral work in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSD.
     Became faculty in Cognitive Science in 1989.
     Has been the Director of CNL for the past 15 years.
